Each and every day, The Connecticut Division of The Salvation Army helps those suffering with services offering food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, companionship to the forlorn and hope to those who have lost faith.
Throughout Connecticut, The Salvation Army officers, employees, Salvationists and volunteers touch lives through selfless acts of service. Our mission and service behind the Red Shield will continue as long as people need a helping hand. We serve those less fortunate as a reflection of God's bright light that has always driven our movement.
How does one access these Salvation Army Services?
The Salvation Army serves CT statewide. Help is available through many Community Centers, Service Units (volunteers on call to provide emergency services on behalf of The Salvation Army), Emergency Shelters, Adult Rehabilitation Centers and a full donation service with pick up service of clothing, furniture, electronics, equipment, computer throughout Connecticut. We also provide donations receipts for tax purposes.
THE SALVATION ARMY of CT has helped Connecticut residents since 1880 and helped more than a quarter million people last year throughout the state. Connecticut services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.
